OverviewNew Direction Golf Management (NDGM) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive golf community that caters to individuals of all ages and genders.
The NDGM team is united by a genuine passion for the game, a company culture that distinctly sets it apart from other golf management firms in the industry. Our team is trained to engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at introducing golf to those who may not have previously considered or had access to the sport. NDGM has been honored with grants from the Middle Atlantic Section, which have significantly bolstered our efforts to promote golf within the Stafford community.
We are currently seeking to expand our team at the Gauntlet Golf Club, located in Stafford, VA. This position will collaborate directly with the Director of Player Development, focusing on golf instruction and the execution of a comprehensive player development calendar. The selected candidate will gain invaluable experience in designing and implementing a balanced player development program that fosters, nurtures, and sustains interest in the game.
Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of over 40 external charitable tournaments, as well as various in-house tournaments. Leagues are integral to the success of the Gauntlet, with over 400 rounds managed weekly.
Experience Required
The following skills are required:
* Strong communications skills (written & verbal)
*Strong skills in customer service
* Strong salesmanship
* Self, Company & Event Marketing
*Ability to multi-task
*In-depth knowledge of golf club equipment technology
*Tournament / League Operations (Golf Genius)
*Minimum 2 years teaching experience
*Have an understanding of how fitness relates to the golf swing
*Have experience disecting the data outputs from a launch monitor
*Strong playing ability
*Must have progress towards PGA Class A membership
