The Opportunity
ICT and electrification markets are exploding—data centers, networking hardware, power electronics, energy infrastructure, and industrial electrification are all scaling faster than traditional manufacturing partners can keep up.
This role is for a senior hunter / rainmaker who already knows the players, can open doors immediately, and wants to scale their impact on a platform that can actually deliver. This is not a build-from-scratch role. This is a market attack with velocity.
The mandate is simple and aggressive:
- Drive significant new ICT / IEE revenue
- Accelerate deal velocity below today's 36 month cycle
- Establish Fathom as a go-to manufacturing partner across high-growth ICT and energy programs
Target Market & Customers
You will explicitly hunt and expand within:
- Hyperscalers & data center operators
- Networking hardware OEMs (routers, switches, RF enclosures)
- Power electronics & power conversion companies
- Battery systems, BESS, and EV infrastructure providers
- Semiconductor capital equipment manufacturers
- Industrial electrification leaders (switchgear, drives, inverters)
What You'll Be Selling
You'll lead with Fathom's strengths in:
- Precision sheet metal (enclosures, frames, structural components)
- Complex electromechanical assemblies
- Select CNC machining programs
- NPI → production ramps, low-volume/high-mix, and scaled production programs
Typical program sizes range from $200K to $2M+ in annual run-rate, with clear expansion paths.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate as both an enterprise seller and vertical leader
- Rapidly penetrate named and whitespace ICT / IEE accounts using your existing network
- Originate, structure, and close high-value manufacturing programs
- Compress sales cycles through strong qualification, executive access, and decisive deal leadership
- Partner closely with engineering, operations, and site leadership to win and scale programs
- Shape pricing strategy, deal structure, and customer engagement within guardrails
- Build executive-level relationships that lead to multi-program, multi-year growth
- Represent Fathom externally as a strategic manufacturing partner—not just a vendor
Who You Are
- A proven hunter / rainmaker with enterprise credibility
- Deep background in contract manufacturing (or adjacent OEM/EMS environments)
- Well-connected across ICT, electrification, energy, or adjacent hardware ecosystems
- Comfortable owning ambiguity, setting strategy, and moving fast
- Equally effective in the boardroom and on the factory floor
- Motivated by impact, autonomy, and building something meaningful at scale
