Company History
Our heritage dates back to 1948, when David Finn and Bill Ruder defined the early days of public relations and launched Ruder Finn – that is where the RF in RF|Binder stems from.
Our founder and CEO, Amy Binder, David Finn’s daughter and industry pioneer, had the foresight to understand the opportunities and impact that the high-tech and digital world would have on communications, and in 2001 founded RF|Binder with the vision of building a fully integrated communications and consulting firm to drive business results.
In 2018, Amy’s daughter Rebecca Binder joined RF|Binder to lead strategic initiatives for the agency and its clients. Her extensive experience in strategic consulting and advising C-suite executives facing disruption is critical for RF|Binder clients today given the complexity of our world and the tremendous change and transformation taking place in the communications, media and technology industries.
