We’re searching for a talented, creative and caring director to be the communicator of our brand with external sources and media outlets, which encompasses manifesting the cultural and emotional aspects of Canyon Ranch. Your talent will assist us as we climb to the next level and communicate our message as differentiator in a sea of choices for the discriminating health and wellness resort, residential, and retail consumer.
Canyon Ranch has been synonymous with the destination health resort industry for a quarter-century. At our resorts, we offer our guests a transformational experience through our integrated disciplines of preventative medicine, behavioral health, movement therapies, nutrition, sport and fitness and spa and meditative practices. The depth and breadth of our service offerings, delivered by highly qualified and extremely caring and compassionate staff, have differentiated us from a sea of competitors in the “health resort” and “spa” markets.
In the last six years, we have expanded our brand to include unique “SpaClubs” located in the Venetian at Las Vegas, Gaylord Palms in Orlando and aboard the Queen Mary 2. The SpaClubs offer programs and services similar to those available at our destination health resorts but on a more limited scale, essentially a “taste” of Canyon Ranch. In addition, we have ventured into the product market, having introduced a Canyon Ranch branded skin care line late in 2003, based on a wellness message. These ventures have helped to move us away from a strictly hospitality market into a broader wellness market.
Canyon Ranch Living residential communities are the newest expression of the Canyon Ranch experience, with the first property in Miami Beach currently under development. Canyon Ranch Living combines a residential living community, a Canyon Ranch branded luxury hotel and full Canyon Ranch spa, fitness, health and wellness programming. In addition, Canyon Ranch Living will include dining venues and retail offerings within the hotel. Construction has commenced in Miami Beach and we expect an opening date of fall 2008. In addition to this project, we are actively negotiating for at least 2 additional Canyon Ranch Living sites and intend to expand this business line internationally over the next ten years.
