Benefits
Medical coverage
Employee-owners may choose between three medical plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT).
The PPO plan offers coverage both in and out of network. This plan requires co-payments for most office visits and medications. Deductibles and co-insurance are charged for most hospital stays, surgeries, diagnostic testing and imaging services.
The Consumer Directed Health Plans (CDHPs) also offer coverage in and out of network. These plans require deductibles and co-insurance for most services and medications. However, these plans offer certain wellness visits and medications at no cost to members. These plans are also federally qualified as High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) and include a Health Savings Account (HSA) for eligible participants. King Arthur Flour contributes to HSA accounts for eligible employees who elect this coverage option.
Vision coverage
Our vision plan through VSP provides annual eye examinations, plus coverage for conventional corrective lenses, contact lenses, and frames through a nationwide network. Coverage for employee-owners is free.
Dental coverage
Our employee-funded plan through Delta Dental offers a range of dental care services.
Health and dependent reimbursement accounts
Pre-tax savings programs available to all employee-owners offer medical and dependent care reimbursement.
