Whitefish Community Foundation brings together donors and nonprofits to cultivate a passion for philanthropy and improve the quality of life for everyone in the Flathead Valley. We provide expertise in helping donors meet their charitable goals. Our tax-efficient Donor Advised Funds, Permanent Endowment Funds, and Legacy Funds simplify giving and allow donors to support their favorite charities. We support local nonprofit organizations with grants, workshops, trainings, and other resources.

Company History

Whitefish Community Foundation was started in 2000 by five founders who saw a need to help local nonprofits excel at their missions. They modeled Whitefish Community Foundation after other successful community foundations in the country. Today, Whitefish Community Foundation is one of the fastest growing community foundations in Montana.
